Are you regularly asking your children to, “please, just eat your vegetables” or bargaining to try to get them to eat at least one more piece of green. National Donut Day is the First Friday in June. You can celebrate by making some of these amazing donuts. May 20th is Pick Strawberries Day, being from San Diego this is a day to look forward to because the one thing better than strawberries is freshly picked strawberries. Strawberries are mostly used for jams or in desserts but are also amazing in salads.
